F55 Mini Cooper Hatchback

Years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020

Since its initial launch in late 2014, MINI has introduced new hatchback models of its line-up, with the latest being the locally-assembled MINI Cooper Countryman Plug-in hybrid and Cooper S Sport. If  the crossover/SUV design is not to your liking, MINI still offers the unique, one-of-a-kind  and stylish F55 Mini Clubman.  These two are built on a wider chassis with even higher rooflines.

Both the three-door and five-door share many of the same Cooper S design elements, such as dual-tone body color, Cooper S front bumper with brake cooling ducts, rear bumper with centrally aligned dual exhaust tips, rear spoiler, 17-inch wheels with Dunlop run-flat tires, and bonnet stripes.

About The F55 Hatchback

The F55 generation MINI was a major step forward in interior design and feel. Soft-touch plastics are more abundant, weighted controls, and a high resolution central display really make the cabin feel premium and bespoke rather than playful. Finally, the One, Cooper, Cooper S and Cooper D models have a new, optional seven-speed dual-clutch transmission as a self-shifting alternative to the standard-fit six-speed manual.

Do Mini's break down a lot?

More Info

That is a false statement. Most breakdowns since repairing Mini Coopers 18 years we have observed that 95% of all tow ins and breakdowns related to Mini Cooper was due to customer negligence or customers misinformed and financial shortcuts resulting in early breakdowns. Mainly due to taking Minis to irresponsible and facilities including some reputable business including licensed Mini facilities that have no personal interest retaining or providing proper services for Mini to operate in premium conditions throughout the life of a Mini Cooper which was intended to last 20yrs 300k miles by the founding father Sir Alec Issigonis.

Are Mini Coopers good on gas?

More Info

Mini coopers have remarkable gas mileage capabilities. Poor maintenance, improper tire pressure, wrong fuel, blocked air filters, poor spark plugs are some of the reasons for poor gas mileage. To prevent this you should keep your tires at 38 to 40 psi according to tire wear. Use only 91 octane premium gas from reputable gas stations. Replace air filter every 15k miles. And have spark plugs replaced evry 3yrs or 30k miles. This is improve your gas mileage tremendously. Blocked or clogged emissions is also a factor of poor gas mileage. (restricted backflow) This can be treated by off shelf treatments like cat clean which is approx $25 per can and should not be used more than once every 25k miles after 60k miles and recommended not to be used on car under 30k miles.
